Really love the cake from wanderbakes.. I chose a portrait theme for my child's 1st birthday so there'd be a photo memory on the cake.. and wow, it looked that much like the example, even though it's only buttercream.. It tastes good, not oversweet, so the kids liked it.. Thanks so much wandercake..

How alike is it?
Our customers wrote the numbers themselves. Vanessa C. ordered a caricature of their sibling's favourite idol, and it "came out 80% alike". Meyta R. wrote "about 90 percent like the real face". Ellen J. pointed out that the painted picture "isn't exactly the same as the real person", then added: "But the result was OK."
A face on a cake will never be exactly like the photo. The customers who gave a number put it at about 80 to 90 percent.
Can you order one at short notice?
Some customers ordered one a day or two ahead. Ashe ordered a close-up portrait drawing a day ahead and wrote, "imagine a cake drawn one day before... it turns out they can do that here??" Dita D. ordered a floral portrait cake a day ahead, and our team asked about the colours, including the colour of the blouse in the portrait. Aristiati S. ordered two days ahead. Fenny S. has ordered the portrait cake "I don't know how many times now", and wrote that last-minute orders are taken too.
For a more complex design it's safer to order a few days ahead; fully custom designs are best ordered 3–7 days ahead.

Send a clear photo of the face on WhatsApp. Our designer replies with what can be made before you pay, and before the cake goes out the admin usually sends a photo of it, so you can see the result first.
Tips before you order
- Pick a photo with a clear, well-lit face; one photo for each person.
- Tell us the colour of the clothes or background you want, as the team asked Dita D.
- Order a few days ahead if you can. If it's last minute, message us before 17:00 WIB (Monday–Saturday) and ask what can be made that day.
How to order a cake
- Message Wanderbakes on WhatsApp at +6281218801119 (wa.me/6281218801119).
- Tell us two things: the date, and who the cake is for.
- Send the full address (building, cluster, block or unit number) and a phone number the courier can call.
- For a custom cake, send a reference photo. The designer replies with what can be made before you pay.
- Ordering from abroad? We accept Visa and Mastercard from any country, through a secure payment link.

… of course the painted picture isn't exactly the same as the real person. But the result was OK. Delivery was safe too, the cake wasn't messed up. The admin was friendly and cooperative too. Only, maybe next time include a bag, because it was hard for me to carry without a big bag.
